Flaxseed Facial Mask,hair gels,skin lotion


Flaxseeds(alsi in hindi) are among the most popular in the latest craze for natural supplements. In fact flaxseeds are set to help cure many conditions, including skin conditions. Flaxseeds can be beneficial for skin conditions, because they have anti-inflammatory effects. This can help certain inflammatory skin conditions such as acne be reduced in severity. Also, due to its potential cancer fighting abilities, flaxseeds may also be beneficial for the skin condition skin cancer.


Roasted Flax Facial Mask


Ingredients
2 Tbsp. ground roasted flax
1 Tbsp. honey
2 Tbsp. wheat bran
¼ cup hot water

Directions
Moisten face with luke warm water. Gently massage the mix on your face with a circular motion. Leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes. Ground flax works to lubricate the skin and relieve dryness. Rinse your face with water.

Roasted Flax Body Scrub


Ingredients
½ cup whole-milk yogurt
¼ cup finely ground rolled oats
¼ cup wheat bran
1 Tbsp. cold pressed flax oil
1 Tbsp. honey
5 drops of lavender essential oil

Directions
Finely grind oats in a blender or food processor. Mix yogurt, oats, and wheat bran in a non-breakable container. Mix honey, flax oil, and lavender oil and thoroughly combine the two mixtures. Wet your body in a warm shower and apply the scrub to your torso, arms and legs. Massage gently into your skin with a circular motion. Rinse well and pat your skin dry.


anti acne mask


blend in some aloe vera gel with the flax gel and add aspirin, for instance, and you have a salicylic mask or even use it as a wash for your face, if you add a little water.


Hair Gel


Ingredients:


2 cups filtered water

1/2 c flax seed

1 T dried rosemary

1 T dried oregano (this is supposed to add some color to dark hair-for light hair, use chamomile)


Bring to boil, cover, remove from heat and let steep for an hour. Strain everything with a mesh strainer. When it cools, it will gel. Before it cools, ad 1 T Sweet Almond Oil to it and keep it in the fridge.


Hair spray


ingredients:


1/2 c flax seed gel

1/2 c aloe vera juice

jojoba oil


add flax gel to aloe juice and add jojoba oil, if you like, and shake. Keep in fridge. Add any kind of oils you like - lavender, lemongrass, etc


Flax Skin Lotion


Flax seeds make for a very softening gel for the skin.


ingredients
1 cup filtered water

1 tablespoon flax seeds

1 teaspoon vegetable glycerin

1 tablespoons aloe vera gel (optional)


Combine water and flax seeds in a small pan, bring to a boil, and simmer until the mixture is thickened. Remove from the heat and strain out as many seeds as you can. Add the glycerin, and blend with a hand mixer. Refrigerate, and discard after a week.


Variation: Make a simple gel by just boiling together the flax seeds and water, and skipping the other ingredients.


Cleasing Gel(for all skin types)


Add 2 tsp. flax seeds to a saucepan containing 1 1/2 cups of distilled water or herbal infusion. Bring to a boil and simmer gently for 15 minutes, stirring to prevent sticking. Remove from heat and cool. The mixture should thicken into a gel. Strain. To use, add enough finely ground oatmeal to the gel to make a smooth paste. Rub over the face and neck, leave a few minutes, then rinse with warm water



Flax seed, either in oil supplements, or whole or milled seeds are beneficial for your body's health. The Omega-3 fatty acid in flax seed is an excellent prevention or remedy to some diseases and skin disorders. So, if you want a healthy life today, just start taking flax seed.
