Add that slow growth rate to splitting, breaking, poor diet and poor nail care in general and no wonder it seems like it takes forever to grow your nails long. Some people have naturally hard nails, giving them an advantage to growing their fingernails long. Most people have thin, frail nails that break easily which makes it impossible to grow nails faster and longer. But this can be corrected with diet, nail care and certain nail products made to grow nails strong.
